Samsung has recently been flaunting its A Series, which happens to be a good medium-segment smartphone from the brand. However, with the launch of J Series, many are believing that Samsung has started a stiff competition within its own smartphones. Today a person who is considering to buy the Galaxy A8 will also have a quick glance at the J7, just because both the phones are very closely associated with each other. So without any further delay, let’s take a look at the difference between the two.

Operating System and Hardware

To begin with, we first take up the operating system and the hardware of the devices. The Samsung Galaxy J7 is operates on Android Lollipop (V5.1) and has a 1.2 GHz Octa-ore processor. On the other hand, the A8 operates on Android Lollipop (V5.1) as well and has a 1.5 GHz quad core processor with Snapdragon 615. J7’s GPU is Mali-T720 and comes with a 1.5 GB RAM. Contrastingly, A8 comes with an Adreno 405 GPU and a 2GB RAM.

Display and Resolution

Now let’s put some attention to display and resolution of the phones. The J7 comes with a screen size of 5.5 inches and has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixel. The A8 has a slightly bigger screen at 5.7 inches and has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Both the devices come in Super AMOLED screen.

Camera and Internal Storage

One of the most important features in every smartphones these days is the camera. The Galaxy A8 has a 16 MP primary camera and a 5 MP Secondary camera. Along with the primary camera, the secondary camera of the phone can also record videos at a resolution of 1080p. Users get an option for internal memory on this phone at 16 GB and 32 GB, respectively.
The Galaxy J7 comes with a 13 MP primary camera which is well equipped with a LED flash. The secondary camera is similar to that of A8 but does not supports 1080p video recording. The phone is available in only one single variant of 16 GB internal storage.

Sony Alpha a6300 vs Others

Camera and Resolution
The first thing that most of the photographers see in a camera is its quality and resolution. There is no point buying a DSLR which shoots at a low resolution and gives space to distortion. The SONY Alpha a6300 has a 24 megapixel camera with a sensor photo detector of 25 megapixel. Coming to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000, the DSLR offers a 20 megapixel camera with a sensor photo detector of 21 megapixel and lastly (by no means the least!), we have Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 III which offers 20 megapixel camera with a sensor photo detector of 21 megapixel.

When it comes to the resolution of the images, the maximum resolution offered by SONY Alpha a6300 is 6000 x 4000. In case of Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 and Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 III, the maximum resolution stays at 5472 x 3648.
